Job responsibilities
- Will be part of China CIB Markets Technology team, responsible for China Futures & Options markets application support and ownership, onshore application system implementation and production management.
- Responsible for Futures & Option trading and clearing system installation, debugging, go live, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Support China Futures & Options market Sale & Trading desk, back office for Exchange systems and Agent Bank systems.
- Liaise with exchanges, telecom vendors, and system suppliers to ensure the stability, reliable, and resiliency operation of information systems and avoid information system risks.
- Charge to the application system upgrade, testing, preparation of the launch and continuous tracking of production and test environment of business application system.
- Support local regulatory reporting and Exchange system setup and ongoing new requirements.
- Keep strong partnership with difference business stakeholders to ensure understanding of business requirement, working out project scope/plan, business requirement documents and prioritizing time and resource.
- Provide technical support for business application system to ensure the stability of application system, as well as tracking, escalating, and solving related problems.
- Keep strong linkage with regional and global teams to leverage good practice, process, functions, and management.
- Work with regional and global teams to help drive continuous improvement and efficiencies across the LOB/firm.
- Support various location specific resiliency, internal technology control, compliance, and Audit activities from local technology perspective.
- Follow JPMC firm standard to ensure proper control and management onshore F&O application systems/tools.
- Build knowledge base and documentations for China CIB F&O Tech.
- Take the shift work to support day session and night session business work.
- Other tasks assigned by Head of IT, or Manager of Application Team

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years IT experience, preferable within Futures Options, Security or Financial services sector.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science related or above.
- With experience in financial (like Futures Options, security, and asset management) trading and clearing system implementation, system operation and maintenance.
- Familiar with Linux and Windows operation system and command.
- Familiar with the deployment and maintenance of databases such as MySQL, and Oracle, familiar with database cluster deployment, maintenance, expansion, backup, recovery, optimization, and master basic database SQL statements.
- Knowledge in computer technology, database technology, network technology, and cybersecurity, etc.
- With experience in operation and maintenance of Futures & Options trading and clearing systems such as Kingstar, CTP or Hundsun is preferred.
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and good teamwork spirit, ability to work under pressure, be proactive, conscientious, have good expression, communication skills and self-learning ability, and a solution driven approach.
- Good mindset of risk management and cybersecurity, experience in change management and SDLC process (software Development Life Cycle).
- Able to pass the China Futures Participate Qualification License.
- Verbal and written communication ability in both English and Chinese.
