The Work Data Product & Solutions team sits at the forefront of data driven decision making and is focused on building out firm-wide strategic capabilities to unlock the potential of our data to enhance our strategic and investment decisions.

As a Space Reservations Product Delivery Associate in the Work Data Product & Solutions team, you will be working on the Space Reservations products that enable all JP Morgan employees to smoothly reserve work spaces & services. Together with the product team you will be responsible for driving improvements to the product and partner with contributing external suppliers to deliver the end-to-end strategy all the way from initial requirements to the execution with our Corporate Technology teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while highlighting opportunities to improve efficiencies
  • Collaborates with the product manager to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, write JIRA requirements, coordinates and executes user acceptance testing, manages dependencies and timelines
  • Contributes to change management activities across functional partners and documents adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Documents blockers and impediments to aid with dependency management and resource availability
  • Builds a strong relationship with both Corporate Technology and User Experience (UX) partners
  • Supports the development of our product strategy and roadmap, collect and analyses metrics on product performance to inform decision-making
  • Participates in product planning sessions, contributes ideas and insights, and assists in the execution of product initiatives ensuring timely and successful product launches

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Expertise in product management, Agile project management, or a relevant domain area
  • Proficiency in gathering, analysing and documenting detailed business and functional requirements. This includes translating business needs into technical, concise and actionable JIRA cards that developers can use to build and implement features effectively.
  • Strong inter-personal skills with ability to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders including technology partners
  • Self-starter with ability to manage own workload and deliverables
  • Excellent oral and written executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Expertise in working with data to drive insights from analytics and drive decision making, experience in using BI tools such as QlikView and Tableau to support rapid prototyping
  • Experience using JIRA or similar workflow tooling to manage product requirements, conducting UAT testing
