As a Data & Process Analyst in the ESG Controllers team, you will lead the charge in defining and specifying data processes. You'll partner with ESG controllers and other teams to document and understand data and control requirements for ESG and climate reports. Together, we'll develop frameworks and strategies that drive our target state product definition. Your work will ensure our data foundation is robust, sustainable, and aligned with evolving reporting needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis with stakeholders to understand existing data and reporting processes.
  • Develop business process diagrams to explain complex processes.
  • Enhance business requirements documentation to improve artefacts.
  • Document and visualize strategic enhancements with the team.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of data attribute requirements.
  • Perform data efficiency analysis to improve data sourcing.
  • Ensure data governance for accuracy and consistency in reporting.
  • Participate in development and user acceptance testing for software enhancements.
  • Test data sourcing proposals and present findings to strategic forums.
  • Reconcile proposed reporting tool outputs with existing data.
  • Specify and build reporting outputs/dashboards using Tableau/Databricks.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with ESG Data in the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Databricks.
  • Knowledge of Financial Control and data assurance in financial statements.
  • Change management experience with requirements documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and presentation for decision-making.
  • Ability to map process and data flows into stories and specifications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proven track record in complex environments with senior leaders.
  • Strong written and oral executive-level communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Financial Services environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with ESG Controllers and ESG Product delivery.
  • Familiarity with ESG Data Central and vendor reference data products.
  • Experience with CIB & CCB Data Contributors.
  • Knowledge of tech and product teams relevant to data inflows and outflows.
  • Experience in developing end-to-end assessment frameworks.
  • Ability to act as a lead in strategic data sourcing forums.
  • Strong relationship management skills with diverse stakeholders.
