We are seeking a skilled Sr. Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will support monthly reporting, reviewing and organizing large amounts of data, interpreting data to identify trends and opportunities for corrective action, supporting annual budget process, and monitoring financial performance. The candidate should have financial acumen with the ability to use data visualization software, a consultative mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly reporting and reviewing datasets to support business decisions.
- Organize and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for corrective action.
- Support annual budget and monitor financial performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate conversion of existing dashboards into automated tableau
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize a consultative approach to understand business needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Apply problem-solving skills to address business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Consultative mindset with the ability to understand and address business needs.

This role is eligible for a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near our office locations in Hartford, Stamford, New York City, or Chicago will have the expectation of working in an office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$58,400 - $87,600
