Join Drive the Future Program internship in JPMorganChase Colombia. As an intern you will receive extensive trainings and coaching to develop your professional skills in our inclusive culture. We're seeking proactive, creative, and self-motivated students for this full-time role in the Operations Back Office team.

In this opportunity, the Back Office team is looking for a new intern. In this team you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of liquidity management, confirmations, regulatory reporting, metrics, internal audits, and participate in operations projects.

This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where learning and development opportunities are part of day to day work.

  • Perform and ensure submission of Transactional Regulatory Reporting requirements set by the local superintendence and other local regulators.
  • Nostro accounts and portfolio position control.
  • Assist in the Liquidity management and other reports to the Front Office.
  • Generate corporate metrics.
  • Provide support to the front office and sales team to process trade capture, reconciliation and lifecycle management in an organized and diligent manner.
  • Contribute analysis of new product or system implementations.
  • Help to develop SOP`s and SharePoint sites to consolidate operational models in an organized environment.
  • Help the S&TS team to align business requirements with technology to enhance current operational models to comply with FO business priorities.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Knowledge of some programing tool such as VBA, Python, R or others is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of region, products, market/industry and client base is a plus.
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Establishes rapport and trust with Business Heads and other leaders.
  • Fortitude to act as a counter-weight to senior leaders.
  • Prioritizes according to business objectives.
  • Action-orientated problem-solver.
  • Willingness to take responsibility.
