Job Summary:
As an Associate Data Owner in the LRCO team, you will be passionate about using data to accelerate product development, promote business growth, and improve the Chase customer experience. You will play a crucial role in the firm's agenda of enabling the business to promote faster innovation through the use of its data by ensuring that data is clearly documented, of good quality and well-protected. You will be responsible for data that is created, provisioned, or consumed in one or more business applications, and which may support business objectives, advanced analytics, business operations, and reporting functions. You will develop subject matter expertise through the definition and classification of data critical to their business area. You will assist technology and business partners to ensure that required data is delivered in a manner consistent with the quality and safety requirements of the business. You will be expected to support processes and procedures that identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks throughout the data life cycle in compliance with Firmwide policies and standards.

Job responsibilities:
- Assist in the capture and documentation of metadata and classifiers of the data critical to their business area.
- Assist in the execution of processes and procedures to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks across the data lifecycle in their business area, include risks related to data protection, retention and destruction, storage, use, and quality.
- Execute operational procedures for developing and delivering data in support of business operations, strategic objectives, advance analytics and reporting goals.
- Research and document key learnings about the data critical to their business area and known impacts to providers and consumers of that data.
- Assist technology and business resources to ensure content and quality standards of data in their business area meet established requirements
- Investigate and document potential data quality issues that may require escalation for remediation.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 4+ years of industry experience in a data-related field.
- Understanding of the business or product data, or related processes.
- Ability to execute via internal partnerships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Structured thinker with good business acumen.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
