Job Summary:

As a Data Management Analyst at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking- Data and Analytics, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with marketing and data teams to understand business needs and objectives.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for data and analytics products.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
  • Design and develop data models, data pipelines, and data visualization dashboards.
  • Work with developers and engineers to implement and test data and analytics products.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure that products meet user needs.
  • Maintain strong controls across the data processes and reporting.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to users of data and analytics products.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and insights.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data and analytics products.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging data and analytics technologies.
  • Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

    • Bachelor's Degree required. 2+ years of experience as data analyst
    • Experience in data analytics utilizing advanced SQL using large-scale enterprise database platforms such as Teradata and Oracle required
    • Experience with data analytics tools and techniques (Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake, Python)
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Access and Excel skills for data analysis
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Experience with marketing platforms (e.g., Optima, Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager, Axciom)
    • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

    • Possess strong relationship skills and ability to collaborate across organizational levels
    • Frequently resolve complex assignments independently and ensure projects are completed according to established timelines
    • Maintain consistent communication, both written and verbal, with team and business process owners with regards to the progress of development efforts
    • Eagerly work in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly dynamic environment with a strong desire and aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies
    • Demonstrate proficiency with sourcing and compiling data from a tool with Extract / Transform / Load (ETL) capabilities such as Alteryx, Trifacta, Ab Initio or R as well as creating and deploying reports with a Business Intelligence (BI) tool such as Tableau
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies
