As a Data Management Analyst in Wholesale Risk Chief Data team, you will be part of a team responsible to oversee and govern Data Risk Management framework which proactively identifies and monitors emerging and existing risks, establishes and maintains effective controls and governance to mitigate data risks arising from inappropriate, incorrect or unauthorized provision/ consumption, classification, storage, retention and disposal of data. You will also support delivery of Wholesale Risk Chief Data Office mandates related to the Data Risk Management Policy and Standard, assist in implementation of Chief Data Office strategy and partner with various stakeholders across the firm to build data governance capabilities.

Job responsibilities
- Support the development and measurement of compliance with data policy and standards.
- Prepare and analyze qualitative and quantitative analysis by assisting in gap and root cause analysis
- Support the Data Management agenda across Risk. Work in close partnership with LOB, Operations, and Chief Data Office partners.
- Deliver training on different tools and processes to key stakeholders and business partners
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, business partners, and control partners to document and assess accuracy around documentation of systems of record, authoritative sources and their usage
- Provide feedback to business partners on interpretation of data risk metrics and recommends actions as needed
- Understand data management lifecycle; understands how to use data related tools such as Collibra, JIRA, Sharepoint etc
- Produce weekly/monthly metrics and provide contextual commentary which resonates with business stakeholders
- Ensure data use review processes, risk evaluation, classification criteria & documentation are recorded and actively managed to align to the requirements of Data Use policy & standards.
- Execute against all data risk's documented processes and procedures with minimal supervision
- Execute on remediation of storage and any other data risk related activities.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills, - Minimum 2 years experience working in a bank or financial institution within Data Governance, Project management, Finance, Risk Controller, Internal/External Reporting, Business analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines required; Finance related bachelor's degree
- Experience in defining/documenting new processes ensuring appropriate Controls framework
- Experience in an end to end exception management process
- Effective analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines while maintaining quality output
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Coach less experienced team members
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Visio
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills, - Understanding of concepts and hands-on experience working with relational databases, SQL, and BI tools
- Experience with tools such as Qlikview, Alteryx, Tableau
