As a Credit Markets Product Control - Associate in the European Credit Markets Product Control team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements. You will work within a collaborative team environment, supporting a business that is a leader in credit products across the EMEA region. Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Line of Business books and records.
- Report and control Trader Profit & Loss/Risk on a daily basis.
- Manage daily revenue reporting of estimated and actual P&L.
- Collaborate with Financial Control, Valuation Control, and Legal Entity Controllers for month-end close processes.
- Validate risk sensitivity for Value at Risk (VaR) and provide commentary on back testing results.
- Prepare commentary linking trading revenues to desk strategies and market conditions.
- Understand the end-to-end technology platform and associated systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, including Antitrust compliance.
- Produce daily risk and P&L sign-off statistics.
- Summarize P&L explain MIS for management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum BSc degree from a Russell Group university or equivalent.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional attitude and team player with an approachable manner.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Accounting qualification.
- Experience in financial markets, sciences, or other numerical disciplines.
- Ability to challenge efficiency and drive process innovation.
