Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Wholesale Lending Services team to partner with the Business to deliver a client focused support model and seamless execution.

As a seasoned Credit Documentation Associate in Credit Product Delivery Team within Commercial Bank Wholesale Lending Services, you will be responsible for the facilitation and management of the deal lifecycle from mandate through to execution and serving as the first point of contact for Bankers and Trade Sales, providing transaction support (particularly for cross-border and complex transactions), and managing the document execution and deal closing process. You will play a pivotal role in providing a superior client experience whilst retaining a strong risk and control framework locally and partnership with regional and global teams to deliver consistently across J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank and Commercial Bank.

Job responsibilities

  • Perform transaction management including but not limited to be acting as primary point of contact and escalation across end-to-end deal cycle
  • Coordinate legal documents by preparing facility documents, coordinating internal review and approvals on negotiation, reviewing client constitutional documents, conditions precedent and conditions subsequent
  • Perform controls framework management by reporting and escalation for transaction execution; approval and documentation records retention
  • Work across functional partners, including offshore stakeholders, JPM appointed external counsel and lenders' facility/security agent
  • Perform pipeline management and reporting
  • Provide query resolutions including collaborating with business to drive best practice both internally and in external markets.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Tertiary degree with a minimum of 5 years of working experience in Credit Administration, Transaction Management or Credit Execution within the banking industry
  • Strong credit and documentation knowledge across lending agreements
  • Proactive/self-starter with the ability to multi-task, effective management in delivery timeline.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
  • Ability to problem solve, willingness to participate change discussion and drive for successful implementation.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ability to create a vision and actionable roadmap with a focus on ongoing innovation.
  • Client facing experience.
  • Process mapping and solution delivery service.
  • Good data analysis skills, familiar with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
