JPMC's Corporate Third-Party Oversight function (CTPO) is responsible for defining and implementing supplier/third party oversight (TPO) and JPMC Inter-Affiliate Oversight (IAO) programs managing third party and outsourcing risk across the firm.
Job Summary:
As an Executive Director of CTPO Risk Management you will be responsible for the design and effectiveness of the central issue management function including uplift and expansion opportunities, increased visibility, improved reporting and general stakeholder management. As a seasoned thought leader, you will be seeking a highly visible role to showcase your senior stakeholder management experience related to outsourcing and third party risk management.

You will be interacting with senior leaders and stakeholders and managing a global team that is responsible for executing the supplier issue management related responsibilities, such as issue creation, severity assignment and reviewing quality & applicability of supplier closure evidence. You will also lead key meetings and all required program enhancements within stated timelines.
You will also act as a regional lead for CTPO Risk Management working closely with key stakeholders, such as Firmwide Resiliency and Global Technology on key cross functional initiatives.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the central CTPO Issue Management function and team including driving program enhancements and uplift, working closely with the CTPO Supplier Assurance Services team.
- Provide subject matter opinion on process improvement initiatives to ensure such efforts are appropriately configured to mitigate conflicts with firmwide issue management controls
- Design and implement strategic initiatives to support the function's key objectives
- Perform mapping/assessments against Program requirements and address any related required changes
- Foster productive and positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide smart and sound solutions to stakeholder challenges while maintaining a balanced and sustainable framework
- Develop and issue timely and accurate management reporting addressing key deliverables
- Prepare executive level presentations that succinctly convey Supplier Issue Management messaging
- Proactively collaborate with regional teams to support CTPO Risk Management awareness
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in supplier issue management to deliver increasing operational efficiency in the processes
- Support CTPO Risk Management initiatives from a regional standpoint
- Manage a team through a collaborative and transparent leadership approach
Required qualifications, skills & capabilities:
- A strategic thinker with significant experience leading a third party risk management function in a global, highly matrixed & regulated organization
- Subject matter expertise in issue management practices in third party risk management and outsourcing, both U.S. and globally
- Experience leading a global team
- Significant experience leading and developing high performing teams
- Outstanding listening, speaking and overall negotiation skills- strong communicator, written and verbal.
- Knowledge of inter-affiliate arrangements, Audit, Compliance, IT Risk or Controls
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Experience presenting to senior management

- Advanced user/creator of MS Power Point, Word, Excel, Visio
