We are seeking a high performance leader to join our Local Markets Sales as Head of Corporate Sales in JPM Chase Bank Berhad Malaysia.

As a Head of Corporate Sales, you will be responsible in developing, leading and expanding client relationships and business franchise for multinational, local corporate and government linked corporates covering products in FX, FXO and Rates (flow and non-flow).

You will need to demonstrate deep proficiency in understanding Malaysia market drivers and identifying product opportunities while having a sound grasp the business, balance sheet, credit and financial risk management of clients.

You will be expected to drive client revenue growth and develop client account strategies to deepen existing client wallets as well as prospecting new clients for business.

You will work with our business partners in sales, trading, research, and banking to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform including providing clients with trade ideas and market intelligence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop short and long-term business strategies to achieve revenue growth target covering Foreign Exchange, Rates, Derivatives and Commodity products.
  • Lead the corporate sales team, develop and execute strategies to grow corporate franchise.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to deliver the firm for corporate clients.
  • Quick to grasp economic events and how it impacts different financial products and clients' dealing behavior
  • Develop and manage relationship with regulators, industry association/groups and professional bodies
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple terms and actionable steps
  • Superior attention to details
  • Create, cultivate and ensure strong governance, compliance, risk and control culture

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • A University degree from a recognized university
  • More than 10 years of working experience in a treasury dealing room handling corporate clients from MNC, local corporates and government linked corporates.
  • PKMC / PPKM License holder.
  • Strong understanding and application in treasury products (flow and non-flow) including Foreign Exchange Spot, Options, Swaps, Forwards and interest rate derivatives.
  • Strong understanding of BNM's FEA regulations, able to advice and apply the rules accordingly to client's situations.
  • Experienced in conducting due diligence and execution for Appointed Overseas Offices trades.
  • Strong qualitative skill set including effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team player that partners well within the immediate team members and with key external stakeholders
  • Ability to drive team performance and provide coaching for team members
