As the Head of Enrollments, you leverage your experience and lead a team of Product Owners to define and create the optimal experience for our Advisors and clients. The enrollments team is responsible for creating a seamless Modern Wealth experience that overtly brings together Goals Planning, Portfolio Construction, Implementation, and Onboarding. You'll be at the forefront, collaborating with key stakeholders to lead, develop, and prioritize business/functional requirements supporting the seamless delivery of innovative solutions. You will also engage in user experience research and design processes, empower testing activities, and lead implementation to ensure high quality code and timely delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Forge strong partnerships with stakeholders, including business management, design, operations, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams
- Drive UI and UX design processes to enhance user experiences
- Ensure documentation of business requirements in Epic/Story format using JIRA
- Prioritize requirements within an Agile framework, managing interdependencies across workstreams and systems
- Lead story refinement sessions with tech partners
- Collaborate with the UAT team to support test planning, acceptance criteria conditioning, and product support during testing
- Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends and enhance processes for customers and the business
- Drive operational readiness, lead system demonstrations, manage release planning, and ensure timely incident/issue resolution
- Navigate the regulatory/legal landscape related to investment products, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulations
- Proactively raise risks and issues to stakeholders or management; addressing control environment, program scope, and timeline impacts
- Coach and mentor the team on best practices, using post release feedback to further enhance the platform
- Define and capture metrics leading to improved advisor efficiencies, faster onboarding of clients, and reduced post-release defects.
- Support Engagement and Adoption of the Platform by defining and participating in various rollout activities.
- Coordinate technology and budget planning processes for Managed Accounts roadmap
- Demonstrate team spirit and strong collaboration skills across functions and LOBs
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- 7 years of prior experience in financial services industry,
- 10 years of experience delivering products, projects, technology applications, or equivalent expertise
- Extensive knowledge of Managed Accounts business and operations
- Experience in Agile and enterprise-wide release and deployment processes and strategies
- Advanced knowledge of product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Ability to synthesize information to formulate a message for Senior Management
- Prior experience creating and delivering high quality presentations used for executive level management communication and transparency into program strategy and progress
- Understands broad-ranging information and new concepts quickly and able to distil into key points
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate to senior stakeholders
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills including ability to foster a collaborative, positive work environment with stakeholders and peers
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office products' (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Experience preferably in wealth management or investments organizations
- Preference for recognized thought leader within related field
- Preference for data and analytical experience (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.); use of data visualization skills (e.g. Tableau) nice to have
