Compensation Advisor - Asset & Wealth Management, Vice President

As a Compensation Advisor within Asset & Wealth Management (AWM), you will work closely with the line of business Compensation Executive, supporting compensation pool planning decisions, planning and analysis for senior management and budgeting and forecasts with finance partners. You will need to have a strong analytical and technical background, attention to detail and the ability to explain the story behind the data to senior stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Compensation Executive on a variety of topics and provide reporting and analysis to help senior management make strategic business decisions and to influence how the tools supporting the compensation process are designed and evolve
  • Work directly with LoB Finance Planning and Analysis Leaders on Economic Incentive Compensation Forecast and headcount related/Compensation Expense related reporting and forecasting
  • Collaborate with compensation managers and HR partners across functions at all levels in order to understand business needs while providing recommendations to the compensation leadership team
  • Simplify and improve the way we do things with fresh ideas, strategy, design iteration and implementation to ensure our compensation programs, policies, and processes align with business strategy, best practice, and our risk and controls framework

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Excellent technical skills with ability to leverage capabilities to improve processes
  • Strong analytical and data / information management skills with a Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications. Advanced understanding of Excel is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Detail and results oriented, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities all within a fast paced team environment
  • Self-initiator with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and think outside of the box
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to convey a story through analysis and metrics
  • Ability to engage with Senior Management including CEO and CFO for AWM

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant Compensation experience or other areas where quantitative skills are required is preferred
