As a Cash Equity Sales Executive Director in our team, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and developing key investor client relationships. You will navigate a broad range of institutional and corporate clients, providing market insights and executing Cash Equity products. Your role is crucial in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth, while fostering a culture of compliance and integrity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop key investor client relationships for Cash Equity products.
  • Help build and maintain databases to analyze past trading activity and interest.
  • Further build relationships with banking and ECM/Syndicate.
  • Execute trades and provide market insights to institutional clients.
  • Expand account list and revenue impact by strengthening existing relationships and introducing new ones.
  • Prioritize resource allocation across clients and products to maximize revenue and collaborate with internal partners to impact revenue beyond own product area.
  • Build trust with clients by understanding their needs and articulating desk ideas.
  • Drive product improvements to meet changing client needs.
  • Promote a culture of compliance, integrity, and ethics within the business and understand and follow the firm's risk management policies and regulatory rules.
  • Mentor and coach team members, driving the people development agenda.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in an execution or syndicate role
  • Deep understanding of the current market trends for equities and equity-linked products.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Developed and established relationships with key investor clients at both trading and portfolio management levels
  • Strong proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • The individual should be self-motivated, with the drive and skill to seek out new client opportunities and produce thoughtful trade ideas

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Professional qualifications from reputable training institutes or professional bodies.
  • Ability to adapt selling style to fit individual client needs.
  • Experience in identifying and retaining strong performers within a team.
