As a Business Assistant in the Audit Department, you will provide comprehensive support to senior leaders. You will be responsible for coordinating executive activities, managing complex schedules, and facilitating high-profile events. Your role is pivotal in maintaining strong business relationships and ensuring compliance with firmwide policies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage executive diaries and time management, coordinating with senior stakeholders to optimize scheduling and logistics.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the broader team, including ordering office supplies.
  • Act as a point of contact for regulatory requests and maintain strategic business relationships across the organization, partner with Business Management Office and broader support groups.
  • Lead the planning and execution of high-profile events, including offsites and conferences.
  • Coordinate complex global travel logistics, including flights, visas, and accommodations.
  • Oversee expense and invoice management.
  • Prepare pre-meeting materials and support Audit documentation processes.
  • Manage practice group organizational charts, headcount forecasting, and strategic reporting.
  • Enhance administrative capabilities across the Audit team and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Participate in location-based, Audit-focused initiatives and business resource groups.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Excellent English skills - reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels, demonstrating executive-level in person communication skills.
  • Expertise in complex global diary management with full competency in Outlook, and experience in arranging complex, multi-leg international travel itineraries.
  • Strong judgment and proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and offer independent solutions.
  • Advanced technical capabilities with a strong awareness of firm technology.
  • High attention to detail and full ownership to completion.
  • Professional demeanour, maintaining composure under pressure, with a positive attitude and strong desire to learn and collaborate.
  • Initiative-driven, ensuring tasks are completed with a deadline driven approach, without prompting.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change, with the ability to pivot quickly and effectively.
  • Strong teamwork ethic, capable of building and maintain networks and ability to cover additional roles and responsibilities.
  • Ability to quickly understand the organizational landscape and key stakeholders.
