Job Summary:

  • A Business Analyst Associate is accountable for the provision of quality Technology requirements for all CAM Services and Business demand items, to enable successful technology delivery to ensure quality outcomes.
  • They are also responsible for documenting the business requirements in Jira that have been prioritized for delivery at a level that Technology can understand the operational process and build appropriate solutions.
  • They need to work alongside the User Acceptance team to identify testing scenarios as part of the business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the refinement of the business requirements conform to the definition of ready.
  • Constant reflection and analysis of delivery of the business requirements, to understand if there were any gaps that lead to sub-optimal delivery and closing the gap on future refinements.
  • Oversight and governance of the testing and release process to ensure that any friction is surfaced and addressed with the relevant team through to implementation of any changes to improve the end-to-end process.
  • Operational business processes are fully documented in Confluence, to enable education and reference for Technology and Operate teams
  • Responsible for ensuring any application user guides are updated and published as part of every release
  • Develop test strategy along with Change management experience.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Experience of building relationships with technology teams to clearly explain requirements, user stories and functionality
  • Exemplifies the highest standards of integrity, respects individuals at every level and can flex style
  • Works independently and manage requests from multiple groups, define business requirement specifications working with users.
  • Take ownership of ensuring the requirement is supported and built end to end solution.
  • Ability to think strategically but have strong attention to detail.
  • Team player, with strong interpersonal and networking skills. Strong organizational skills - ability to take strategic direction and independently develop/manage project plans/Multi task and deliver against deadlines

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in Cash, Payments or Finance
  • Track record of defining and successful delivery of new solutions from concept to launch and rollout.
  • Problem solving skills - superior ability to structure and scope complex problems, apply a range of technology/analytical tools, gain and synthesize insights and develop recommendations
  • Helps promote a client/customer centered organization and has the desire to receive feedback and continuously improve, demonstrating a growth mindset
