As an experienced Automation Test Lead within Corporate Investment Banking, you will play an integral role in the build out of the test automation services required for accelerating change program delivery. You will work in partnership with project managers, technology and testing teams to define, design and build test automation. You will join the Wholesale "Know Your Customer" Operations, Client Onboarding & Documentation (WKO CO&D) testing team to build and maintain test automation suite. This role provides you with the opportunity to contribute significantly to our change program delivery and to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
Job responsibilities
- Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Automate and maintain Insprint and regression test suites using Java / Cucumber / Selenium framework, API, Java / Rest Assured
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Work with subject matter experts and technical development leads to define and execute testing strategies
- Continually review and add to existing test packs, whilst taking a strategic view on the evolving technology stack.
- Design and implement tools/utilities to automate QA processes, app development and maintenance.
- Produce summary and detailed testing estimates.
- Report to all stakeholders on QA status and pro
- Develop UAT test automation into Front-End automation frameworks, and become POC on newest tools

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software automation testing concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience testing with proven track record in QA software deliverables including defining and executing testing strategies.
- Experience in automated testing of APIs and UI testing using RestAssured, Selenium, Postman or similar technology.
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s) (e.g., JAVA, Selenium, and Cucumber, Python)
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Proficient knowledge and experience in the following tools: Gradle, Maven, Git, Bit bucket, JIRA, Confluence, qTest, JMeter/Load Runner
- Test estimation, scheduling and reporting progress
- Confidence in communicating internally at all levels
- Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Independently design, develop, test, and deliver Test Automation Solutions supporting UAT and UAT testing using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber
- Experience with working in Python, Alteryx and Tableau reporting
- Working knowledge of databases like Oracle, Mongo DB
- Must be collaborative, able to build strong relationships across the firm, strategize and drive process improvements, and results oriented
- Proactive, self-motivated and flexible with a positive attitude. Capable of 'thinking outside the box'
- Strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure
