The Role

As an AI and Automation lead in the Kyndryl Finance Systems and Process Transformation organization, your primary responsibility will be to leverage AI technologies and automation tools to optimize and streamline financial processes.

You will work closely with business unit Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions using the Business Intelligence (BI) Microsoft Power Suite and SAP BTP platforms, including leveraging the low-code/no-code solutions offered in SAP Build. The intersection of technology and finance is a thrilling space to work in, especially for those who have a passion for technology and analytics. As the AI and Automation Lead, you will hold a plethora of responsibilities that are pivotal to delivering SAP and other automation solutions in support of the success of the finance team, providing innovative solutions to current and future business challenges. It is expected that you will contribute with tangible and measurable results driving overall finance organization business model efficiency. Key to the role is collaborating with Finance or across organizations including CIO to drive automations and AI solutions to drive process improvement and value add to our Finance work.

Specifically, you'll be responsible for the following:

  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current financial processes and identify areas for improvement through automation and AI integration. Ensure that technology is embarces and cost-effective services are developed.
  • Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement automated solutions using Microsoft Suite products or SAP BTP to enhance business workflows. This covers areas of requirements gathering, configuration, testing and deployment of the solution. This includes taking role of a 'Citizen Developer' where you will be an empowered business user who will create new or change existing business applications to solve tactical problems, automate calculations, or simplify manual processes, without the need to involve IT.
  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of AI and automation solutions with existing financial systems and software.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Reporting: Create detailed reports on the performance and impact of implemented solutions, presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Training: Document automation frameworks, scripts and processes. Provide education and support to users on new tools and processes, ensuring smooth adoption and utilization.

NOTE: This is a global role, therefore, there may be occasions where flexibility in your work schedule is required due to collaborations with others across time zones.

The compensation range for this position in the US is $116,760 to $221,880 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave and paid time off. Note: if this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program. To be successful in the role you will have the following required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or related field
  • 10+ years of Finance experience from both process and technical system/solution perspective
  • Curiosity in the technical aspects of finance systems and tools
  • Experience in process automation and AI solution with use of SAP and Microsoft Suite tools a plus
