As an Associate in the Investment Governance Support team, you will have the opportunity to perform reviews of designations associated with investment strategies and review connected methodologies. You will conduct data analysis to flag investment products and improve the identification of underperforming or outperforming products. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for overseeing the global framework for investment vehicle approval and ongoing review according to robust, consistent standards. You will have the chance to enhance your understanding of investment due diligence principles and governance oversight, with a focus on reviewing and enhancing investment methodologies and designations. Job Responsibilities

  • Review and refine methodologies used to flag investment products, ensuring they align with the organization's standards and client interests.
  • Conduct annual reviews of designations associated with investment products, analyzing data to ensure strategies adhere to their defined frameworks and clarifying any discrepancies with the Due Diligence Team.
  • Perform data analysis to generate insights and recommendations for improving the platform's ability to identify underperforming and outperforming products.
  • Conduct periodic methodology reviews, collaborating with the Due Diligence and Risk teams to ensure methodologies reflect the current business environment.
  • Document processes and methodologies, ensuring clarity and consistency in Governance practices.
  • Collaborate with Technology and other stakeholders to implement enhancements based on review findings.
  • Support the Investments Governance Committees by providing insights and documentation related to methodology and designation reviews.
  • Ensure robust oversight and governance frameworks are maintained, with appropriate documentation to uphold fiduciary responsibilities for clients.
  • Partner with Controls & Compliance officers and Risk teams to manage regulatory inspections and reviews related to methodology and designation assessments.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of industry experience, in consulting or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Wealth Management business and a variety of investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds, and structured products.
  • Strong analytical experience, with a focus on statistical analysis, financial modeling, or other investment-related analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, Visual Basic, C#.
  • Proven ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic professional environment, with strong attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • CFA or MBA preferred.
  • Strong initiative, energy, and confidence in completing assignments with limited supervision.
  • Superior time management skills and the ability to prioritize a heavy workload.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI etc.), data extraction (SQL) and leveraging the MS Office suite to improve productivity.
