The Critical Facilities Regional Security Manager is responsible for the oversight and governance of the Critical Facilities program in India and the surrounding region. The team evaluates risk and ensures the implementation of established security and life safety procedures at JPMorgan Chase data centers and secured critical facilities.
Job Summary
As an Associate, within the Global Security team, you will be responsible to manage a high degree of autonomy, with the ability to complete tasks independently and effectively. You will be required to possess knowledge of data center physical security management and technical security design best practice. You should have the ability to multitask and manage multiple work streams across different locations and have strong familiarity with the data center regulatory environment, dealing with audit requests and responding to regional geopolitical events. You will be required to support the Critical Facilities program providing liaison with various lines of business within the APAC region and reports directly to the Divisional Security Director for EMEA and APAC.

Job responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee comprehensive Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessments (TVRAs) at current and proposed Critical Facility locations, to identify potential threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Complete annual internal reviews of Critical Facilities in APAC
- Oversee audit activity and third party reviews by internal, external and government entities.
- Manage key meetings to present performance metrics and security updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of security status and initiatives
- Work with the technical security team to implement design standards for all Critical Facilities.
- Draft new procedures and revise current procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory and control requirements
- Ensure security teams are completing monthly, quarterly and annual requirements as outlined in current standards
- Maintain liaison with Federal, State, local law enforcement and regulatory agencies and other financial institutions to maintain strategic relationships for information sharing and networking.
- Assist with the completion of control documents and monthly tracking documents for senior Global Security management
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- A background in data center physical or technical security management
- Strong experience of working within the regulatory environment and responding to audit requests and compliance standards
- Able to work with a high degree of autonomy with effective time management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to drive new initiatives from concept to completion
- Ability to communicate effectively to senior management, with a high degree of emotional intelligence
- Experience of working in Microsoft Office programs to include Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to travel up to 15% of the time within the APAC region
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Familiarity and experience in intelligent automation solutions and business process improvement
- Experience of using tools similar to SharePoint, Tableau, Alteryx or advanced Excel knowledge
- Knowledge of current physical security operations and trends
- Knowledge / experience of critical infrastructure and current protection measures used by similar industries and government entities
