About the Role:

We are seeking to hire a Vice President of Field Sales, who will oversee our Worldwide Cloud Security portfolio. Reporting up to them will be a team of Regional Sales Directors that will help push initiatives and achieve company sales targets.

What You'll Do:
  • Drive the company's sales execution of Cloud Security globally
  • Deliver a creative GTM execution strategy to protect our customers and stop cloud breaches
  • Provide management oversight to your team to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Communicate corporate strategy to employees within your team.
  • Plan and direct activities including planning and implementing forecasts, marketing program development, relationship development, customer satisfaction and collateral material development and distribution.
  • Establish short-term and long-term goals and quotas in line with objectives.
  • Identify needed resources for supporting sales strategy and develop a proposed budget for Senior Management review.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Keep senior leadership informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.
  • Interact with Product teams and Product Marketing teams to help guide product development and market messaging
What You'll Need:
  • 5+ years of experience in leading/managing senior sales teams with a complex product and solution sales approach.
  • Ability to sell in direct touch approach and via the channel.
  • Proven track records in working with multimillion-dollar targets.
  • Expert knowledge of the full sales cycle and working at C-Level.
  • Background in selling Cloud Security products is a plus.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM is a plus.
  • Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Second-line management experience essential
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills.
  • Passionate relationship building and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with functional peers across functions including the Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services Customer Support, and Product Development.
  • Proven ability to work creatively with service delivery partners
  • Strong understanding of Security management technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Experience in leading multiple worldwide teams with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas.
  • Demonstrating experience working with Sales organizations and technical teams.
  • Experience with developing budgets and predicting project costs.
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
  • Ability to work remotely and able and willing to travel.
Management Skills:
  • This individual uses their management and technical skills to develop, modify and execute company policies that affect operations and may have a companywide effect.
  • The scope of responsibility for this person includes implementing strategic policies and establishing and adhering to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
  • May act as an advisor or subject matter expert. \
  • Sets revenue targets and ensures targets are met.
  • Hire, train and manage a team of highly motivated and successful senior sales professionals.
  • Ensure the team is hitting all metrics and quotas across regions.
  • Successfully forecast team revenue numbers.
  • Prepare and execute a thorough business plan.
  • Reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management.
CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $ 180,000 - $320,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
