Job summary:

The CIB Treasury P&A team, is aligned within CIB Treasury, and whose primary responsibility is the management of forecasts and plan for purposes of managing business activities across Treasury strategies (i.e. balance sheet, funding, liquidity, G-SIB, RWA, capital and leverage strategies). This team is also responsible for providing various analytics for senior management across all the regulatory constraints to support CIB objectives of maximizing return on capital, balance sheet usage, liquidity and leverage.

The key stakeholders of the group include CIB Finance senior management, business heads, product controllers & planning and analysis. The team works extensively with the LOB Product control groups and CIB Treasury to ensure complete and accurate reporting of risk weighted assets, balance sheet, capital and liquidity for both actuals and forecasts. The group also works closely with the Corporate Finance Reporting, Corporate Treasury, Corporate P&A, RCMO (Regulatory Capital Management Office) to ensure a complete understanding of business issues and the accurate execution of policies.

You will be based in Mumbai and a part of CIB Treasury team supporting New York team in deliverables relating to annual / quarterly Stress forecast Cycles for CCAR FED submission.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage CIB stress forecasting for balance sheet, NII, FTP, RWA and SLR with articulation of results. This includes partnering across all CIB sub lines of business to support the preparation, review and submission of the CCAR FR Y-14M and FR Y-14Q reporting to the FRB.
    • Macros Economic Variables (MEVs) analysis for the current cycle vs the prior cycle and to understand its impact on the LOBs projection
    • Preparing the FRY - 14A PLBS schedule based on the Firmwide CCAR requirement and submission of the same in the neutron system
    • Performing the Variance Analysis, PQ0 - PQ1 analysis and providing the answers to the CCST questions post the corporate submission
    • Supporting the NY team in preparing the corporate treasury and senior managers review presentation
  • Ensuring accurate and timely action on stress forecasting analytics including enhancements and design of periodic ad-hoc reporting for Corporate and Risk Assessment groups Liaise, partner and build strong relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT and other support functions to drive implementation of capital planning and forecasting methodologies in production systems
  • Understand key regulatory and business drivers of capital management and decision making and their impact on overall Treasury and corporate wide risk metrics and performance

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • 7+ years of financial services experience, experience in CCAR/stress testing is must
  • Familiarity with Balance Sheet, banking products and regulatory capital requirements is must.
  • Results-orientated without compromising control and detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
  • Actively listens and assimilates broad ranging information quickly
  • Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other reporting/visualization tools
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; comfortable presenting results to key stakeholders and senior management
