As a Private Wealth Alternatives Client Advisor in the APAC region, you will play a crucial role in helping clients build stronger portfolios. You will be part of a team that is powerfully positioned to bring Alternatives investment capabilities to individual investors through financial intermediaries. Your efforts will focus on promoting financial advisor engagement and increasing assets under management by leveraging J.P. Morgan's leading position in the market.

Based in Hong Kong, you will primarily cover financial intermediaries in North Asia. Your role will involve establishing key client relationships, coordinating sales campaigns, and providing marketing support activities. You will work closely with the sales team to formulate strategies for increased penetration within targeted firms and assist in gathering information on emerging trends within the financial intermediaries community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attain placement of J.P. Morgan Asset Management Alternative products with financial advisors from financial intermediaries.
- Proactively identify avenues for increased penetration of Alternatives, including client referrals and conference opportunities.
- Coordinate business development efforts and manage sales campaigns and marketing support activities.
- Perform sales functions including client meetings, follow-ups, proposal generation, and presentations.
- Develop a clear understanding of clients' strategic objectives.
- Provide product information, gather marketing data, and offer sales/marketing solutions.
- Monitor and analyze financial intermediaries' sales activities and competitors' coverage.
- Work closely with the sales team to exchange ideas and formulate strategies.
- Assist in gathering information on emerging trends within the financial intermediaries community.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Six years of experience with a financial services company in a sales/specialist role.
- Extensive experience in Alternatives, including product/industry knowledge and successful placement with financial intermediaries.
- Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (both written and spoken).
- Based in Hong Kong, with primary coverage of financial intermediaries in North Asia.
- Global mindset with the ability to identify synergies with global counterparts.
- Team player, strong communicator, and problem solver.
- Client-focused with the ability to align processes and systems to meet the needs of financial intermediaries.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and collaborative sales environment.
- Frequent travel is expected.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- CFA or CAIA certification.
- Language skills in Japanese and Korean are an additional merit.
