Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking an Asset Management Specialist with strong proficiency in Excel Pivot Tables and Power BI. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's assets, developing comprehensive reports, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities: Maintain and update the asset database, ensuring accurate records of all assets, including their acquisition, usage, and disposal.
Utilize Excel Pivot Tables to analyze large datasets and generate insightful reports on asset performance and utilization. Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide real-time visibility into asset metrics and trends. Identify opportunities for improving asset management processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their asset needs and provide support in asset planning and allocation. Ensure compliance with asset management policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Proven experience in asset management or a related role. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and data visualization techniques. Strong knowledge of Power BI for creating interactive reports and dashboards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to communicate complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Familiarity with asset management software and tools is a plus.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to effectively and confidently communicate complex concepts - in speaking and writing -with team members and all levels of technical and nontechnical customer stakeholders
Ability to create diagrams, policies, procedures, presentations, etc., as needed for day-to-day management as well as read blueprints/schematics, etc. as needed for planning/issue remediation
Familiarity of industry change management best practices

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
