As an Analytics Solutions Senior Associate in Data Product & Experience team, you will support the creation and continuous improvement of best-fit, data products and delivery solutions to make Commercial and Investment banking employees more effective and efficient in their roles, with specific focus on the Innovation Economy ecosystem and institutional investor segment broadly. You will partner closely with business process integration leads to deliver solutions using a combination of existing data assets and also identify new capabilities that need to be developed - in some cases, directly supporting the new capability development. As the role brings together aspects of product management and business process/operations, you will work in a dynamic cross-functional environment. You must have superior data analysis skills and the ability to articulate business impacts and formulate recommendations. Demonstrated familiarity with financial services sector and institutional investors is a requirement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between tech and business, gathering requirements from non-technical business executives, translating to logic for evaluation by developers and engineers, communicating technical choices and trade-offs to business executives to decision, and driving execution of agreed data strategy
  • Analyze various JPMorganChase and 3rd party data sources to inform strategies and turn data discoveries and process into operational capabilities
  • Articulate analytical findings in clear and concise manner tailored to very different audiences
  • Be flexible and comfortable managing evolving analytical requirements continuously learning quickly on the job
  • Drive to become Subject Matter Expert on Commercial Investment Banking Data Team data model and capabilities

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Degree qualified
  • Familiarity with institutional investor categories, datasets typically employed to describe their behavior, and attributes needed to perform analytics to identify opportunities for JPMorganChase
  • Familiarity with institutional investors' financial services needed to conduct their investment activities or their operations as a financial institution.
  • Must be highly analytical and have strong communication and presentation skills
  • Work experience across broad range of analytics tools; demonstrated advanced Excel is a must; Alteryx, Tableau/Qlik, supported by ability to code in SQL and/or Python/R
  • Experience with 3rd party data relevant to Commercial and Investment Banking
  • Experience in data analysis, data management, technology development, Machine Learning analytical technology and/or comparable business integration concepts

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated familiarity with where these financial services are provided within JPMorganChase a strong plus
