DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Define, design and develop automated strategic data solutions. Analyze and interpret financial statements, banker sales performance and overall portfolio health. Translate high-level operational business needs into actionable intermediate or complex design analysis. Develop systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data. Create and maintain statistical models, including logistic regression, time series, clustering, and decision trees. Develop and maintain complex analytics workflows. Present recommendations to management and business partners. Champion best practices for code reviews, version control, business requirements documentation, data quality, and issue tracking. Drive a high-volume and high complexity reporting and analytics book of work. Build effective reports for executive leadership and business partners by leveraging understanding of financial products and strategies. Use the appropriate technical tools to extract and synthesize information, then clearly communicate insights to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions, Wealth Management Associate, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions, Wealth Management Associate, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms, including SQL and Python; Data analysis using Excel; Data extraction and transformation using SQL; Utilizing data technology and statistics to solve business problems in support of sales and financial operations; Reading and reporting financial metrics involving credit risk indicators; Time series, forecasting, and trend analysis; Summarizing research outcomes for diverse audiences; and visually depicting key data and findings by leveraging Tableau, PowerPoint, and Qlik.
