As an Agility Lead in Finance Technology, you will play a significant role as a champion for the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices. This role involves leading agile teams, facilitating agile processes, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile practices, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for empowering teams to deliver high-quality results. Use your expertise to guide and support teams to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. Your leadership, communication, and coaching skills will be instrumental in empowering teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and effectively, while continuously adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and coach 5-6 scrum teams in adoption and execution of agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Promote open communication and engagement among team members ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals
  • Communicate organizational impediments to leadership; clear impediments for the team
  • Identify trends and generate original ideas to contribute to the development of new policies and best practices within the discipline
  • Work with Product Owners to align teams with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information
  • Create an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
  • Embrace the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instill the same in the team(s) you coach
  • Contribute to the internal community of practice by leading or supporting transformation strategy initiatives, sharing knowledge and influencing continuous improvement across the broader organization
  • Appreciate the depths of Lean and Agile practices and principles, help teams appreciate them
  • Define and refine OKR to measure Agile success and look for opportunities to improve Agile journey

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training on Agile coaching or BS/BA degree and advanced applied experience of 5+ years
  • Expertise with Agile and Scrum frameworks and their application in Product Development and delivery organization
  • Ability to coach and mentor
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence people at various levels
  • Display advanced knowledge of agile delivery and multiple agile approaches, including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and scaling frameworks, monitoring agility metrics; with the ability to guide teams through complex projects, emphasizing iterative progress and adaptability.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels within the organization, effectively guiding group discussions and decision-making processes within the domain context.
  • Understand & teach AGILE Best Practices to Product Owners & AGILE Teams

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in financial or banking domain
  • Highly desirable Scrum Master certifications (e.g. PSM, A-CSM, CSP-SM)
