We Are Looking For

Join our dynamic team as a VP of Supply Chain Operations for Electrophysiology, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform operations. We are looking for an exceptional leader who is passionate about driving excellence in supply chain operations and is ready to spearhead the operations that align with our overarching business objectives and CSS Supply Chain goals.

In this influential position, you will report directly to the CSS Supply Chain Vice President and collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Leadership team to elevate our operations framework to new heights. You will lead and inspire a diverse range of supply chain functions, including Planning, Internal and External Manufacturing, and Plant Management, ensuring that each area operates seamlessly and efficiently.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

1. Drive commercial responsiveness: Lead strategic, tactical, and operational actions tailored to commercial needs.

2. Interface with global teams: Collaborate with global/regional EP, CSS, and MedTech Supply Chain functions as needed.

3. Provide supply chain leadership: Oversee supply chain operations for internal EP sites, external manufacturing, and internal reprocessing.

4. Oversee supply chain functions: Oversight and accountability of Electrophysiology supply chain functions of Planning, Internal and External Manufacturing, Internal site responsibilities (EH&S, Sustainability, border deliveries, customs, etc.)

5. Develop CSS operations model: Create and implement a supply chain model for the Electrophysiology platform that aligns with customer trends and commercial requirements.

6. Translate insights into deliverables: Translate commercial insights and strategy into a BWI supply chain operations deliverables and strategic approaches (business continuity planning, strategic capacity mgmt, network planning, external mfg strategic leverage) while contributing to overall GP improvement.

7. Accountability for KPIs: Be accountable for the BWI supply chain Operations key performance indicators, site metrics, EH&S, ext mfg, quality, etc.

8. Flawless product launch execution: Drive flawless execution in with site/plant and ext mfg integration of new product launches while contributing to overall GP improvement.

9. Collaborate with quality: Collaborate with Quality organizations to implement quality and reliability strategies / programs.

10. Engage with R&D: Foster strong collaboration with the R&D team for successful product launches, design-to-value, automation, and site improvements for life cycle mgmt.

11. Proactively manage issues: Proactively manage product issues, identify opportunities for improvement throughout the product lifecycle for internal and external manufacturing.

12. Secure project funding: Secure funds through the financial process for team for site improvements, EH&S, Sustainability, BCP, SCM, lifecycle projects, etc.

13. Leverage capabilities: Leverage J&J Medtech/CSS processes, capabilities, and competencies to ensure a best-in-class Supply Chain Operations team, sites, and talent.

14. Develop talent strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management strategy for the Supply Chain Operations team, function as a coach and create a leadership pipeline for the future.

15. Urgent communication: Clearly communicate business-related issues or opportunities to management with urgency.

16. Ensure compliance: Monitor adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines and provide resources as needed.

17. Support personnel wellbeing: Prioritize the wellbeing of personnel and the overall organization.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain.

• 15+ years of management experience.

• 10+ years in senior supply chain leadership roles with extensive operations and supply chain experience.

• Experience in Product & Process Development

• Deep understanding of supply chain plant management, people leadership, internal and external operations

• Understanding of supply chain capabilities and cost of services to identify innovative solutions to meet customer needs

• Strong business acumen with deep understanding of E2E supply chain

• Demonstrates strong Credo behavior and the ability to deal with ambiguity.

• Capable of driving innovative thinking, mastering complexity, and having a passion for the customer

• Able to work constructively and collaboratively with multiple partners.

• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to connect, shape, deliver, and lead.

• Proven history working in a constantly changing environment with excellent problem analysis and resolutions.

• 40% percent travel domestic and international (including weekends)

Preferred

• MBA or an MS

• PMP certification

• LEAN manufacturing

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

• 10+ years in Medical Device or related business
