Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one "clean" ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

As part of the Project Management Office, the Business Test & Validation Lead is responsible for and accountable to the testing & validation strategy. This includes definition and creation, facilitating all aspects of test preparation, leading test execution, and driving formal closure of all testing reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead formal program test strategy
  • Integrate and coordinate cross-program interdependencies, issues, and challenges by working across functional areas to ensure efficient end-to-end testing and controls
  • Handle all activities related to the preparation and readiness for testing execution
  • Ensure test data set up is completed, and route for pre-execution review and approval
  • Drive standard processes, scale, leveragability, and resource optimization to ensure cross-program end-to-end testing is implemented per plan
  • Develop and deliver test and validation progress through established metrics to senior-level IM leaders and collaborators
  • Establish and implement exit criteria for each Test Cycle
  • Lead all post-execution testing requirements and approvals, including formal Traceability Matrix enablement
  • Enthusiastically seek to promote standard methodology and continuous improvement principles across Functional system deployments


Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's/University or equivalent degree is required
  • Certification such as PMP / FPX, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence are preferable

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or large transformation programs/deployments
  • Program Management experience (preferably on large, sophisticated business transformation programs)
  • Experience leading/developing people (direct or indirect reports)
  • Experience managing and executing business simulation testing or user acceptance testing and validation for complex, highly integrated projects
  • Hands-on project management/delivery experience, including experience leading projects, timelines, and organizational change
  • Solid understanding of JIRA, HP-ALM, or equivalent tracking tool
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven track record to influence/collaborate to get the desired result
  • Strong communication to create clear and concise messaging to leadership and the ability to work well in teams, cross-functionally, and with all levels of the organization, ability to manage and develop internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • SAP or other major ERP implementation experience

Preferred:

  • Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or related industry
  • Familiarity with software test automation tools and frameworks such as Tosca or equivalent
  • Experience with S/4 Hana
  • Experience with Agile Methodology

Other:

  • Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Requires up to 25% domestic and international travel
  • Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $137,000 USD to $235,750 USD.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal, and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
