The Senior Manager, Oncology (CARVYKTI) Field Operations and Sales Training, will work with Oncology senior leaders to identify and maximize operational processes to achieve organizational goals related to Oncology sales. She/He develops strategies to work with our internal and external partners to optimize business processes. This individual works directly with Oncology field sales management for flawless implementation and execution.
The goal of the Senior Manager, Oncology Field Operations and Sales Training, is to support, develop and implement franchise operational capabilities for Oncology field sales and align operational support from internal business partners. This role will report directly into the CARVYKTI Field Sales Director and support the customer facing field teams. This will allow for maximum impact on Oncology field sales and customer populations. The Senior Manager establishes operational work streams for supporting the national Oncology field sales organization including Deployment and alignment change requests, Incentive Compensation, Budgets, Field Reporting, IT, Performance Metrics / Dashboards, Short- & Long-Term Curriculum Planning with SL&D, CSO Management, Field Business Planning, and POA Meeting leadership. The Senior Manager will also enhance customer engagement through operational process and best practices.
The Sr. Manager will establish operational work streams for supporting the Oncology field Franchise organization including:
• POA meeting planning and oversight to maximize live team touchpoints and learning/execution impact
Leadership in planning and cross-collaboration for FAST START, SUMMIT meetings, and other field engagement opportunities
• Partnering with national field leaders to create regional manager coaching guides, field coaching reports and tracking field metrics
• Liaison between senior sales leaders, learning and development leadership, and marketing team to create, enhance and deploy training content to the field, including short and long-term Curriculum Planning with the Learning Excellence team, and new selling assets
• Collaborate with Marketing and Solid and HEM Leaders to Develop strategies to work with internal and external partners to optimize business processes. Collaborate with external partner (Legend Biotech) to align on goals, KPI's, metrics, customer universe lists, and other operational synergies.
• Provide support during new hire on-boarding, Field meetings, Field business planning and business reviews, Account list management and planning, roster management, deployment and targeting excellence.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years or more of sales experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Medical Device Industry is required.
• The selected candidate must possess strong analytical and strategic thinking and planning abilities. This includes working with large data sets and the ability to assess, analyze, interpret, and provide summaries.
• The selected candidate must work well in a matrix environment without direct line authority.
• The selected candidate must be able to influence thinking amongst senior leaders and possess excellent communication skills.
• Oncology and Multiple Myeloma experience is preferred.
• People Management experience desired
• Knowledge of health care reimbursement from a patient and provider perspective is desired

• Must be able to identify and assess risk and prioritize competing demands for time, based on importance, need, and impact.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively to complete projects and follow Company-approved processes to fulfill assigned responsibilities
• Must demonstrate an ability to assess executional effectiveness of a sales and coaching model when engaging in feedback with sales specialists and managers.
• Deliver appropriate verbal and written feedback, role-playing, and modeling of the skills to enhance performance
• This position is in Horsham, Pennsylvania and may require up to 25% travel; this role is approved to work remotely.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $131,000 to $226,550. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
