With a focus on the Digital products under the Synchronized Planning (SP) domain, and under the leadership of the SP Domain Owner, the Senior Manager Domain Capability Lead is responsible for defining the domain digital capability vision, strategy, value proposition, and roadmap, in collaboration with the product management team, GPEX process team, and data asset owners. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for digital capability development, deployment, and adoption with effective change management across all life-cycle stages and will drive budget integration into Business Plan / Long Range Financial Planning (BP/LRFP) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create domain digital capability vision strategy, define business requirements, and collaborate with business SMEs, Business Product Owners & Product Manager, as aligned with the business / Domain strategy
  • Develop domain capability roadmap and business value proposition using 3E value methodology and identify required resources
  • Accountable, within scope of digital capability, for digital product development and deployment across LCMstages in alignment with Digital Strategy and J&J Technology
  • Remove roadblocks, implement critical metric reporting management, and deliver value creation through adoption and integration in regular business processes
  • Integrate capability roadmap into BP and LRFP processes
  • Enable cross-domain digital prioritization and orchestration to optimize value of J&J Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) digital investment and digital stack/ecosystem
  • Based on domain structure, may have Business Product Owners and/or Business Product Analysts as direct reports


Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's /University or equivalent degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • Certifications preferred: Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher), Supply Chain Certification (APICS / IBF), and/or Project Management Certification (PMP / FPX)

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Work experience within Supply Chain
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP (preferably SAP) and/or Advanced Planning Systems (e.g., OMP, APO, and/or Anaplan)
  • Experience managing/owning (within your relevant business segment) the responsibility for key processes and/or performance indicators (KPIs) of the organization
  • Experience creating a value proposition for the user and a vision for (cross domain) digital capability
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and build strong collaborative teams and relationships, leading cross-functional/ virtual teams without direct authority
  • Ability to be an inspiring leader, focusing on Business agility, with a fail-fast attitude
  • Anticipates and communicates the need for change and innovation in an empathetic & influential manner to ensure that the business responds to demands in an agile, positive, proactive way

Preferred:

  • Experience working in one or more of the following Supply Chain areas: Planning, Quality, Deliver, Source/Procurement, Make/Manufacturing, and/or Technology
  • Experience with advanced analytics solutions (e.g., Alteryx, Databricks, Power Automate, or equivalent)
  • Experience with Intelligent Automation, Process Mining, and/or Scenario Planning solutions
  • Knowledge of a broad set of internal and external business drivers and financial metrics across enterprise in order to prioritize digital products that drive business goals & capabilities

Other:

  • Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Requires up to 10% domestic and international travel
  • Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 USD to $203,550 USD.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal, and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
