POSITION SUMMARY
Provides analysis, ad hoc reporting, and sales analytical support to sales and marketing management. This job is not eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares regular and ad hoc, performs various data mining activities, and analysis for sales management to facilitate identifying potential marketing opportunities.
- Publishes standard reports for management.
- Tracks and analyzes sales force performance of sales volume, market share & sales force productivity.
- Analyzes and interprets both internal and external factors that affect sales performance.
- Provides insights to sales and marketing management on sales force effectiveness.
- Troubleshoots inquiries about account alignments and performance data and provide counsel and actionable information.
- Conducts training in the effective use of data (third party and contracted), applications, and tools provided to make a difference in sales results produced.
- Participates in special projects.
- Prepares presentations and reports to support sales conferences/meetings.
- Utilizes or coordinates business systems to gather key information on sales, cost, and key activity information.
- Support field sales management in deploying new assets, exchanging expiring equipment, and providing valuable sales data to optimize inventory.
- Support Supply Chain and Demand Planning to efficiently forecast and complete annual base business budget.
- Support NPI launches and new set deployments to field sales.
- Support and train field sales organization of field sales systems that drive efficiencies in the end-to-end sales process.
- Support sales force and marketing on Set Deployment; establish field sales work instructions, standard methodologies, enable reporting via Optimizer.
- Provides information & analysis related to area market.
- Assists sales and marketing management team in constructing sales forecast and budgets.
- Participates in the design, development, implementation, and administration process of Sales Analytics plans.
- Supports and resolves issues in the development and implementation of plans and tools to facilitate and improve sales and marketing functions.
- Supports Sales Analytics manager in task planning and implementation, participates in and leads projects.
- Assists in developing and maintaining departmental budget.
- Performs other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience with leading/coordination of projects across multiple partners and departments is required.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to enter data on a spreadsheet is required.
- Diplomatic and amiable written communication skills is required.
- Ability to make effective oral and written presentations that result in meeting the departmental goals/objectives is required.
- Adaptable to varying tasks based on team needs is required.
- Ability to work with varying stakeholders to implement day-to-day tasks is required.
- Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field is preferred.
- Up to 25% of domestic travel is required.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $63,000 to $102,350.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
