Job Title: Endodontic Sales Specialist
Department: Optident External Sales Team
Reports To: National Sales Manager
Location: Remote - NW London
Overview:
The available position is an Endodontic Sales Specialist working in close collaboration with the established Henry Schein/Optident sales team in the UK, promoting and presenting the Endodontic range of products sold through Henry Schein.
The role will involve visiting Dental practices, corporate bodies, and hospital/clinic visits. As part of the wider Henry Schein UK team, you will be working closely with other team members to grow the Henry Schein/Optident Endodontic business.

Job Responsibilities:
The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:
- To work independently in the field and supportive of Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and Field Sales Consultants (FSC) through regular presence and where appropriate co travel with direct influence during field visits and participation at operational sales meetings/video meetings/video trainings and supporting post graduate events with KOLs and local and national exhibitions
- To be an endodontic brand ambassador and promote the endodontic product range
- Detailed presentation of endodontic materials and equipment
- Managing and building relationships with KOLs and developing new KOLs/local champions
- Selecting customers in the UK market for evaluation feedback on the endodontic product range
- Attending local & national dental events
- Delivering sales processes and face-to-face customer interactions, to sell and promote the endodontic range with a clear goal to increase the overall sales share in the endodontic category with existing customers and winning new customers in the wider market
- The above includes increasing awareness and importance of measuring and executing the growth in endodontic category with the sales and marketing teams
- Sales performance will be tracked in line with individual sales plans and targeted activity
- Development of tools to better find turnover potentials is an important element within this role
- As Endodontic Sales Specialist it is expected that you will work with the development of sales call procedures to help FSC increase their individual sales and share growth
- As the portfolio is extended and new products are developed the role of the Endodontic Sales Specialist will be involved in new product launch, explaining, and implementing product integration tactics through team interactions and presentations
- This role will expect to deliver assessment and comparisons of sales approaches and share best practices to inspire the field sales team and provide field or video coaching sessions to support the regional leaders' efforts to strengthen the endodontic category sales
- Cooperation with the Special Markets and Multi Practice team with SM/Multi Practice activities that will result in development of customer centric solutions for each individual large customer
- Understand the endodontic market and supporting the leadership team with market intelligence

Job Skills & Experience Required:
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
Skill & Experience:
- Endodontics experience preferred but not essential
- Experience in a customer facing sales role
- Knowledge of the dental industry (not mandatory but preferred)
- Effective/Impactful communicating experience
- Confidence using IT applications
- Understanding of and ability to provide excellent Customer Service
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and in a timely manner
- Ability to accept ownership of tasks and responsibilities
- Problem solving
- Organising and managing workload
