TheManager, Global Strategy, Analytics & Commercial Effectiveness will support the commercial insights & analytics needs across the Global Trauma, Extremities and Sports businesses. Through extensive cross-functional and cross-geography collaboration, this role will be responsible for the strategy and execution of Global Health of Business including content creation, performance tracking, and the ability to bring data-driven recommendations to the forefront of decision-making. This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Trauma, Extremities, CMF, Sports.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the execution and coordination of Global Health of Business processes across Regions and Focus Markets to procure insights, diagnose business drivers, and develop fact-based recommendations to drive growth.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Platforms' needs by developing a roadmap of opportunities for continued improvement across Health of Business, Analytics, Reporting, and other critical operational pillars.
• Shape and deliver robust monthly reporting requirements focused on the identification of performance drivers and drive Global alignment across leadership teams and functional areas.
• Partner with Franchise, functional areas & regional/global/local teams to help identify and track metrics to optimize business performance - specifically related to executing financial targets, product lifecycle delivery, competitor/market intelligence and identifying/tracking risks to business.
• Define, design and deliver analytics capabilities at scale to improve reporting and our ability to derive insights that aid in critical decision making for our business. Considering and evaluating continuous efficiencies or opportunities for innovation in our business intelligence offerings - e.g., exploring avenues for automation, AI or new BI software options
• Partner with Global Strategic Marketing teams to build and maintain product hierarchies for use in Franchise reporting.
• Take lead in directly supporting leadership for key executive reviews including deck preparation, storyboarding, storytelling and consolidation.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
• Advanced degree or Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in either: finance, business analytics, commercial ops, strategic insights, strategic forecasting, IT, or a related field is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complicated findings in an intuitive manner (verbally, presentations, or via analytics tools).
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional peers to progress deliverables or decision-making; willingness to "share thoughts" backed by data insight and business rationale to influence leadership.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to be resourceful in tackling ambiguous business or technical problems and proposing solutions, troubleshooting tactics or leading problem-solving with a positive 'can do' attitude.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required (e.g., performing data analysis, managing/navigating/blending larger datasets, preparing intuitive visualizations, modeling, conducting reconciliations).
• Proven work experience in one or more analytics software - Alteryx, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, Qlik, PowerBI is required.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
