The Manager, Fee For Service Pharmacy/Distribution will report into the Director, FFS Pharmacy & Distribution of the Strategic Contracting team; an organization within Strategic Customer Group (SCG).

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the creation, negotiation, execution and management of agreements between JJHCS, JOM, Janssen or J&J affiliates, on behalf of Innovative Medicine, and with Specialty Pharmacies, Wholesalers/Distributors, complex program supplier and other related customers for a variety of services that support patients who have been prescribed a Janssen product.

This individual will implement the SCG Contract Management Mission and Vision for distribution, and fee for service engagements with customers; and be responsible for the strategic design and development of agreements in collaboration with the Law Department, HCC, Privacy, Finance, Pharmacovigilance, Safety Services, Procurement, Trade, Account Management, Brand Teams, and Patient Engagement & Customer Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Negotiate, draft and execute approved Master Agreements, Amendments, Notices, Waivers, Scopes of Work, etc., for high complexity agreements or novel arrangements as assigned by the Director of Offer Development or the Associate Director of Offer Development. All agreements are based on the approved contract strategy. Language regarding pricing and any specific strategy nuances should be reviewed with the Associate Director or Director of Offer Development and/or the appropriate J&J legal counsel or subject matter experts, as needed, and may require CPC approval, prior to execution.

Ensure that all agreements are drafted in a compliant manner and comply with the laws and regulations that govern the Pharmaceutical industry, the Guidance Documents issued by the J&J Law Department, and Innovative Medicine policies and procedures.

Develop Process Narratives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) that define the approved procedures for developing and executing agreements.

Ensure that all executed agreements, records and procedures are managed, stored and retained per JJHCS Records Management procedures in the appropriate records management system for easy access by the Offer Development and the J&J legal team and tracked for metrics analysis. Assist in document gathering for litigation matters.

Serve as the liaison between Account Management, Trade, Channel Management, Operations, PECS or Program Owners to assist in the resolution of issues involving contract language, payment determinations and audit remediations post contract execution.

Aid in evolution and design of FFS programs and strategies by providing contracting expertise and best practices to ensure an efficient and effective process, while continuing to be agile and adaptable.

Identify and shape processes and capabilities that will drive value throughout the contacting continuum and beyond

Partner with cross functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely and complete contracts.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree is required.

• Paralegal certification, JD, or advanced degree, preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 6 years business related experience is required, including contract management or related experience

• Experience in contract management for, distribution, Complex Supplier Programs and/or Fee for Service agreements is strongly preferred.

• Experience drafting and/or negotiating contracts is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated Credo mindset

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate business situations clearly and accurately, and to address and resolve issues by communicating difficult information constructively and diplomatically.

• Ability to influence without authority at all levels, including senior leaderships required.

• Ability to work with all levels in the organization and with customers.

• Demonstrated Intellectual Curiosity; hungry to learn more about the evolving health care marketplace and how it impacts the pharmaceutical industry.

• Demonstrated Business Acumen; understanding of the health care marketplace, the competitive position of our products, and the process by which patients gain access to our products.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in an ambiguous environment

• Big picture orientation and attention to detail; ability to think strategically, ensuring that contract templates and executed documents accurately reflect approved strategies.

• Established organizational skills and the ability to work independently

• Proven track record of working in a matrixed environment.

Other:

• Up to 20% travel between Raritan, Titusville and Horsham campuses, or to customers and conferences.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. •
