The Lead will function as a Product Analyst within the Global Medical Affairs Technology Product Group, collaborating with J&J IM's Strategy, Analytics and Transformation (StAT), and Scientific Affairs (SA) departments. This role will focus on enhancing medical scientific engagement and improving patient care through insightful analytics. The position will be tasked with defining business requirements and supervising project delivery alongside J&J IM's Technology Product teams and Technology Services partners, ensuring that goals related to medical engagement and insights generation are achieved.
Person in this role will:
- Serve as a Technical Product Owner, managing relations with SA, StATs, and coordinating with J&J IM Technology teams to understand requirements and objectives.
- Collaborate with program leaders to understand their goals. Prioritize and define features with the Technical Product Manager (TPM) to keep the product roadmap aligned with the company's vision.
- Work with Business Product Owner (BPO) and TPM to set and monitor KPIs for product performance and improvement.
- Partner across Technology teams (Product Groups and Data Science) to deliver high quality data & analytics solutions which are aligned to business and IT strategies.
- Apply agile methodology to work with business partners to define and translate business objectives into user stories, prioritize product backlog, define sprint plans and manage the continuous improvement lifecycle of data and analytics applications.
- Provide project oversight and management by translating business needs into requirements, ensuring objectives are met within scope, schedule, and budget. Develop and manage business requirements while communicating vision to product lines and technology partners.
- Maintain and advance a positive team culture and support an authentic, open and inclusive environment that maximizes diverse experiences and perspectives.
- Implement processes, governance, operational and communications structures to deliver with consistency, quality, compliance and speed.
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience in data management and analytics.
Experience and Skills:
- Required: 5+ years of relevant IT and business experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of IT experience within the pharmaceutical industry or life sciences.
- Preferred: PMP or Scrum Master certification.
- Required: Working experience in defining advanced data & analytics strategies for a business function.
- Preferred: Working knowledge and understanding of Data Sciences and predictive analytics technologies.
- Required: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills in a cross-functional environment, with a demonstrated sense of urgency and goal-oriented results.
- Required: Understanding of business value, maximizing IT impact, managing key business partner priorities in ambiguity, and working efficiently in a matrixed organization.
- Required: The ability to lead multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate diplomacy and integrity in a complex, high-profile, and constantly evolving environment is crucial.
- Preferred: Experience with data analysis (SQL, Dataiku, Excel) and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $91,000 to $147,200.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
