  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection according to the specifications following QSR's and
    written procedures. Notify any non-conformance related to the QA inspection and test
    methodologies.
  • Inspects tests and/or evaluates the precision and accuracy of products, production equipment,
    and/or testing equipment.
  • Performs all Finished Goods inspections / testing according to the specifications.
  • Use of the Finished Goods software to document the inspection results.
  • Collect Finished Goods and Retain samples at the sterilization site when needed for testing.
  • Performs data analysis and recommends disposition of material.
  • Segregate Finished Goods samples and Retain Samples according to the requirements
  • Perform batch records review and sterilization information for product release.
  • Use of Statistical Process Control knowledge to make decision on the acceptances/rejection of the process/product.
  • Maintain knowledge of all procedures, change to specifications and new regulations related to
    their areas of responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate and precise documentation of their daily and weekly activity sheets.
  • Support associates on defect awareness and specifications requirements.
  • Support the Engineering and QA Departments in validation activities.
  • Perform other duties as required by Supervisor or QA Supply Chain Leader.
  • Train new QA Technician in Quality Assurance duties and responsibilities.
  • Participate in safety initiatives within the facility.
  • Comply with all environmental, safety and occupational health policies (i.e., ISO14001 &
    OSHAS 18001).
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management
    level.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all
    Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all
    resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and
    Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate Degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a technical or science field, with 1-
    3 years of experience in quality assurance; or 8+ years of proven experience in quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work overtime, various work schedules, which may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts
    and/or 12-hour daily shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Master computer and applications.
  • Knowledge of QSR's and ISO Standards.

Preferred:

  • Effective Bilingual (Spanish & English) communication skills.
