POSITION SUMMARY
The Director, ACUVUE Brand Equity & Digital Marketing will be responsible for defining the brand footprint and its articulation for both patients and ECPs and developing and executing brand equity strategies that enhance brand perception, drive customer loyalty, and foster long-term growth across both the offline and online space. The director will champion the digital brand work and will use the technology to drive successful brand equity build up and patient and ECP acquisition and retention.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Equity Strategy Development (50%)
- Defines, owns, safeguards and champions ACUVUE brand footprint, Visual Brand Language, Communication guidelines.
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand equity strategies for both Eye Care Professionals and Consumers that drive brand growth and align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Ensure a consistent brand message across all global markets while adapting strategies to local market nuances.
Consumer Insights & Market Analysis & Outside (20%)
- Leverage consumer insights and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs that inform brand positioning and communication strategies.
- Analyze competitive landscape and brand performance metrics to create actionable plans for enhancing brand equity.
- Outside In: nurtures an external view about Equity and Brand build up by looking into other verticals and brands in different categories, partners with advertising, communication, media and other think tanks to be at the forefront of the industry.
Digital Marketing (20%)
- Understands how the different digital tools can and should be used to enhance ACUVUE brand media campaign results and equity metrics.
- Champions a cross functional team across the regions, markets and the Global Digital team to drive successful digital marketing programs within a Test and Learn capacity for future scaling up.
- Understands how to build business cases and its financial metrics to drive digital programs including: Full funnel measurement and optimization, Incremental ROI, CAC, LTV, CPC, CPM, Saturation Curves as well as Media and Content practice and DTC models.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership (10%)
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer experience, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and strategic alignment.
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally, fostering a culture of brand stewardship and advocacy throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience is required.
- Experience in brand management or marketing within the healthcare, consumer goods / Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), personal care, beauty or optical industry is required.
- Experience in developing and executing successful brand equity strategies on a global scale is required.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience developing strategies for diverse markets is required.
- Experience working across cross-cultural teams is required.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills are required.
- Experience in using digital models to drive customer acquisition and retention is strongly preferred.
- Experience in understanding how communication and media metrics link back to P&L value creation is strongly preferred.
- Experience in working with digital product development teams on a lean start up or Test & Learn (T&L) capacity is strongly preferred.
- Experience with in-region marketing is preferred.
- People management experience is preferred.
- Up to 25% business (domestic and international) travel is required.
