This position will support a flawless detailed brand-new Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation, on time, on cost and on scope for the MedTech Memphis Logistics Center (MLC) and our Satellite Distribution Center (SDC) network committed to strategic MAKE sites. The replacement of the WMS is a key critical initiative within the NA HMD area that will upgrade aging infrastructure platforms to secure our business today and become the cornerstone for future transformation of our distribution capabilities for the customer. This project will lay the groundwork for the development and deployment of key capabilities (People, Process, Automation, and Technology) to improve efficiency and effectiveness, whilst keeping our customer's needs central to what we do. This project is the foundation for the Distribution Global Template for Tier 1 DCs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and mine data resources to build data profiles for all facets of distribution operations.
  • Collaborate across the J&J Supply Chain network: Distribution Excellence, Planning (US & OUS), MAKE, Transportation, IT and DT, Customer Service, Engineering, and more to confirm business requirements and support simulation testing
  • Participate in end-to-end process mapping for current and future state, ensuring the broader supply chain ecosystem (upstream and downstream system processes) are represented and aligning business strategy to systems strategy and architecture
  • Lead Data Mapping efforts from existing solutions to end state.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional business process design efforts to develop warehouse distribution systems reporting architecture and requirements.
  • Provide toolset during design and requirements definitions phases to make data-based decisions on functionality and Key Design Decisions
  • Identify and define opportunities to improve base product reporting and critical metric functionality to add to the core template.
  • Identify and define requirements for dashboarding key process areas to add to the core template
  • Handle risks efficiently, identify potential problems and gaps early, and assist in resolving or raising issues as appropriate


Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required; focused degree specifically in Logistics, Supply Chain, Systems or Business preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 4 years of experience designing, constructing and implementing key business reporting toolsets.
  • Experience with data conversions and data integrity validations
  • Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Tableau
  • Ability to use SQL to pull data to feed analytics, foster insights and drive data based decisions
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and influencing skills
  • Consistent record of working multi-functionally and applying End to End thought processes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a multifaceted environment
  • Attention to detail and a drive for ensuring data accuracy and integrity

Preferred:

  • Medical Device sector/industry experience
  • E2E supply chain knowledge and experience, such as operations, network planning and/or systems implementations
  • Solid skills using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Expertise in SAP Order To Cash or ERP order management processes
  • Experience in WMS management, maintenance or implementation
  • Experience in Ethicon, Endo &CSS Supply Chain processes or similar Medical Device business
  • Experience with Jira
  • Agile Methodology knowledge and experience
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS methodologies knowledge and/or certifications

Other:

  • Ability to travel 5-25%* or more of the time (project key points), domestic required.
  • Position located in Memphis, TN with consideration for other US locations
  • The anticipated salary range for this role is $91,000-$147,200 & $105,000- $169,050 if you live in the CA Bay Area.
  • The company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
