Primary Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Good News Stories:
- Collaborate with various teams to identify and gather positive news stories from the manufacturing organization related to employee achievements, community involvement, and company initiatives.
- Conduct interviews and collect testimonials from employees to highlight their experiences and contributions.
- Create compelling content that showcases the company's culture and values through newsletters, intranet updates, and social media platforms.
- Enhancing Employee Communication:
- Assist in developing communication strategies aimed at reaching our diverse workforce effectively.
- Explore and propose new channels and methods of communication, ensuring inclusivity for all employees.
- Analyze employee feedback and engagement metrics to improve future communications.
- Content Creation:
- Help draft and edit communication materials, such as emails, newsletters, and announcements.
- Support the creation of visually appealing presentations and graphics to accompany written communications.
- Event Support:
- Assist in planning and promoting internal events that celebrate diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for future communications initiatives.
- Research and Trends Analysis:
- Stay informed about best practices in internal communications and employee engagement, particularly within the manufacturing sector.
- Conduct research on new communication tools and technologies that could enhance our outreach efforts.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or any relevant related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and contribute to the team's objectives.
- Experience in content creation (e.g., writing, graphic design) is a plus.
