The Associate Director, Global Market Research & Analytics is responsible for leading and delivering key strategic insights to support decision making through primary and secondary market research, business intelligence and analytics. This role serves as the "voice of the customer" and translate "customer learning" into actionable recommendations based on key insights.

This role will report into Director, Global Commercial Insights and Analytics for and partner closely with the other team members from Global Commercial Insights Organization (Competitive Intelligence, Forecasting), as well as Global Commercial Leads to shape global commercial development strategies for the Prostate Cancer Portfolio in Oncology, with primary focus on assets in early development and transitioning into late development.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative global primary market research.
  • Develop and execute market research plans. Ensure alignment with Global and Regional stakeholders.
  • Perform various business analytics tasks leveraging secondary research, syndicated reports and various tools and platforms
  • Integrate insights and analytics, articulate, frame and effectively communicate situation analysis, risks and opportunities. Recommend actions.
  • Identify data/insight gaps and perform market research and analytics to help inform those gaps.
  • Partner with the Global Commercial leaders in optimizing commercial development strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team(s) as well as other cross-company and cross-functional partners, including Business Development.
  • Facilitate and lead discussions with cross-functional teams regarding implications and relevant recommendations based on the insights generated from primary and secondary research and other analyses.


Qualifications

Required

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of progressive business experience in relevant areas such as Market Research, Business Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, Forecasting, Business Development, Marketing or Consulting

Preferred

• An advanced degree

• Market Research experience in addition to business intelligence experience

• Experience in Oncology

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
