Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Trade Support Team Classification Senior Analyst provides US HTS (United States Harmonized Tariff System) and US ECCN classifications of Jabil products and services and will provide information on import duties and license information to all Jabil's sites, their business units, logistics teams and customs brokers. Carry out internal classification audits, internal trainings, participate in classification related projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define HTS and ECCN classification of finished goods, raw materials and other products
• Manage, sort, partition, enter, extract or add IM/EX data items into/from the SAP/GTS (Global Trade Services) database, into/from an MS Excel spreadsheet tool or other databases as required
• Research part and product technical characteristics from other Jabil departments, using SAP tools, customer or vendor websites, general internet searches, and other database searches to support IM/EX classifications assigned
• Assist and support the Regional & Global Trade Compliance team with performing trade compliance audits, reporting, and other related regulatory trade compliance responsibilities
• Carry out internal training of HTS or ECCN classification related topics
• Participate in HTS or ECCN classification audits and projects
• Interpret HTS or ECCN classification legislation changes
• May perform other foreign trade related classification tasks
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
• 3 years of Experience in a Customs & Classification Environment.
• Working knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff System , and working knowledge of the US HTS and US ECCN.
• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
• Solid communication skills in English.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to write and follow complex correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex instructions.
• Ability to deal with non-standardized situations.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
• Ability to understand basic manufacturing processes (mainly in EMS sector)
