Job Description

3D ProScan is a leading metrology and product validation laboratory specializing in both industrial Computer Tomography (CT) scanning and traditional metrology services for precise measurement and analysis of parts and assemblies. CT Scanning is an exciting and rapidly expanding metrology technology that enables customers to very precisely inspect/measure their parts without fixtures or conventional measurement capabilities. In addition to measurement, the X-ray vision enables non-destructive assembly analysis which can be vital in debug, development, and troubleshooting of new products. We are looking for a high energy, collaborative, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Business Unit Associate. who is comfortable with promoting, cultivating new clients, and negotiating closings at the customer B2B level. In this role, they will be responsible for the 3D Proscan business unit and advancing CT and traditional metrology services to potential clients, including product development teams, medical device manufacturers, and precision industrial companies. The right candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (internal and external), nurturing existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth to achieve company revenue goals, service, and profit goals.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of CT and Traditional Metrology technology and application through training and hands on use.
  • Build on an established business & marketing plan aimed at achieving 3D Proscan revenue & profit contribution objectives.
  • Identify, target & engage customers that fit account profile.
  • Lead development of communication and presentation materials.
  • Visit customers and promote CT Scan/Metrology capabilities through high-impact presentations with decision makers including senior-level management.
  • Create and manage, QTR reports, pipeline, vendors, and marketing budget to grown 3D Proscan
  • Work with Business Unit leads, Program Management, and outside vendors to secure business opportunities for the metrology division from quoting to managing outside vendor to complete SOW.
  • Direct and clearly communicate job requirements and desired outcomes to ensure customer needs are met and adequate resources are available for successful job completion.
  • Consult with various legal and administrative personnel to ensure compliance with all business initiatives; analyze information and develop recommendations.
  • Work to keep and improve on all customer satisfaction measurements.
  • Complete all new client onboarding requirements and other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS Degree in a business related or engineering curriculum, with 2-5 years of technical experience.
  • 3+ years successful track record in the Industrial Technology Business Development preferred.
  • Demonstrated deep operational knowledge, strategic ability and experience in Industrial Business development preferred.
  • Requires exceptional communication skills: must be capable of persuasive communication both externally and internally.
  • Requires strong analytical skills/abilities.
  • Strong business acumen to address profitable growth opportunities.
  • Travel will vary. Max 40%
