Job summary: Facility Maintenance Technician performs electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and painting repairs, overseeing equipment installation, and maintaining critical systems such as compressed air, humidifiers, air dryers, vacuum systems, and water treatment. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and updating technical documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform electrical, mechanical, painting, and/or carpentry repairs of fixtures and equipment on company premises;
- Oversee installation, relocation and reinstallation of new and/or existing equipment;
- Maintain, repair and keep in basic condition production compressed air system, humidifiers, air dryers, vacuum systems, water treatment, boiler house;
- Perform simple engineering calculations for proposed new equipment in part of modernizations and optimizations;
- Update technical documentation when changes mandate and following a part of lifecycle;
- Create, optimize and improve maintenance strategy for all Air Conditioning and ventilation equipment within manufacturer specifications.
- Submit proposals and recommendations to department supervisor for upgrades or changes;
- Troubleshoot and conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required;
- Follow Preventive Maintenance Instructions and ensure that the records for such are properly documented;
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required, in technical area;
- One to three years experience; or demonstrated skills required to perform the job.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Driver's license, B category
- Knowledge of English and Croatian language
