Position: Director - IT Process Transformation

Our Director - IT Process Transformation will lead the overall IT process transformation initiatives across Plan to Ship and Source to Order (Procure to Pay) processes including solution optimization, increased adoption of enterprise applications and elimination of legacy debt.
What can you expect to do?
Leadership and Executive Management
- Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.
- Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility.
- Coach and mentor IT staff to deliver excellence to internal and external customer.
- Create and manage succession plans for Information Services function.
Performance Management:
- Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results (i.e. operational metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, attendance records, knowledge of operational roles and responsibilities, personal development goals).
- Solicit ongoing feedback from Business Unit, peers and team member on team member's contribution to the team. Provide ongoing coaching and counseling to team member based on feedback.
- Perform team member evaluations professionally and on time.
- Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics and the achievement of the organizational goals.
- Coordinate activities of large teams and keep them focused on times of crises.
Business Strategy and Direction:
- Know and understand the Jabil Operations and Supply chain strategic directions.
- Define, develop and implement a Technology Transformation for Plan to ship and Source to Order (Procure to Pay) strategy, which contributes to the enterprise strategic directions.
- Develop an understanding of the Jabil workcell business strategy as it pertains to IT.
- Provide regular updates to Business Unit on the execution of the strategy.
Cost Management:
- Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
- Utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value.
Technical Management:
- Work with the business users and organizational groups to develop solutions to business processes.
- Define information systems requirements and solution design for Plan to Ship and Source to Order.
- Ensure internal customer needs analysis is in alignment with business initiatives.
- Ensure metrics are defined, valid and shared with all parties.
- Ensure that projects are scheduled, planned to achieve the right balance of roadmap/strategic developments and necessary ongoing enhancements to maintain the integrity of the application/infrastructure.
- Proactively drive continuous improvement throughout the enterprise through enhancements to the application infrastructure, processes & knowledge transfer.
- Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re- engineering of processes and systems).
What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor's Degree required and Master's is preferred. Degree in Computer Science or Supply chain is preferred.
- 10+ years of industry experience in business transformation, manufacturing, and/or IT.
- 4+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role is required.
- Experience in interaction and collaboration with senior leadership (C-level).
- Experience in driving enterprise transformation (5+ years) along with ability develop strategy and new business models.
- Strong proficiency in determining Operations requirements to enable company's business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
- Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
- Strong knowledge of S&OP, Planning, Procurement, Scheduling and Manufacturing process, and advanced planning applications like Kinaxis Rapid Response and E2Open.
- Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP in the areas of Materials Management, Production Planning, Available, FI/CO integration with MM, PP and SD, Fiori applications and embedded analytics.
- Hands on experience in SAP S4, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Signavio and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) will be a plus.
