The Opportunity:

As the VP of Product and Partner Marketing, you will be responsible for defining and executing our product marketing strategy, positioning our products effectively in the market, and driving customer acquisition and engagement. You will work closely with product management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure our products meet market needs and achieve commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive product marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
    • Drive market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and trends.
    • Define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target customers.
    • Lead go-to-market strategy for new product launches and feature releases.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging:
    • Be the expert on the product and craft compelling product narratives and communicate the value of our solutions to the market.
    • Develop and maintain detailed buyer personas and customer journey maps.
    • Ensure consistency in product messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
    • Conduct ongoing market research and gather customer insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
    • Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization.
  • Sales Enablement:
    • Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively sell our products.
    • Develop sales enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, and competitive battle cards.
    • Foster a strong feedback loop between sales and product marketing to refine messaging and positioning.
  • Partner Marketing Enablement:
    • Partner with sales and deliver partner enablement programs, including training, certification, and marketing resources.
    • Develop co-marketing programs and campaigns with partners to drive joint demand generation.
    • Ensure partners are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively market and sell our products.
  • Collaboration and Alignment:
    • Work closely with product management, data science, and engineering, to align marketing efforts with product roadmap and development.
    • Partner with customer success and sales teams to leverage customer insights and testimonials in marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to support overall business objectives and growth strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a VP of Product Marketing or similar senior marketing role in an AI-led B2B SaaS environment.
  • At least 15 years of experience in product marketing, partner marketing or related field
  • At least 10 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong track record of successfully launching and marketing software products.
  • Deep understanding of product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Reports to: Chief Product and Technology Officer
  • Supervisory Responsibility: This position has supervisory responsibilities - as direct or indirect leader
  • Location: Arlington Office or Remote-US
  • Telecommute Option: Yes
  • Travel Requirements: This position may require up to 10% travel. Frequently, travel is outside the local area and overnight.
  • Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.
  • Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
  • Compensation range is base salary of $225,000 - $255,000. The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
