Short Description:
An Engineer with minimum 7+ years of experience in supervising, handling, and managing enterprise-level Non-Prod environments.
Can accurately follow operational SOP/MOP procedures and identifies process gaps through on the job learning. Can advise on system health. Executes, maintains, creates and authorizes operational processes across the chapter and domain. Can guide others to address end to end process gaps while providing chapter and domain level support.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Creating multiple integrated test environments
- Provisioning infrastructure and platform in a repeatable way
- Reliable monitoring for all environments (and not only production!)
- Synchronized software version updates
- Deletion of unused environments to save our planet (and avoid huge cloud bills)
- Test Data Management across the whole environments' landscape
- Debugging test environment issues and solving them quickly.
- Keep test environments well-documented and transparent.
- Plan and allocate resources to avoid conflicts.
- Automate updates to minimize errors and save time.
- Leverage virtualization to optimize testing speed.
- Monitor key metrics to improve test environment efficiency.
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience defining and setting development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
- Skills:
- On-demand Environment provisioning on cloud: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Bluemix, Skytap
- Infrastructure as a code: AWS CloudFormation, Terraform
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Ticketing Tool for Service Desk and Change Management: ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, JIRA, Micro Focus Service Manager
- Monitoring tools: Splunk, Nagios, Zabbix, AppDynamics, Amazon CloudWatch, Microsoft Cloud Monitoring, Google Stackdriver
- Auto discovery for CI and CMDB updates: ServiceNow Discovery
- Release Automation: CA RA, Jenkins, JetBrains TeamCity, Atlassian Bamboo
- End-to-End Environment Management tool: Plutora, Enov8
- Service Virtualization: CA LISA / Service virtualization, Tricentis Tosca, SoapUI
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in working in teams on large and complex projects
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
