Purpose of the Role:
In the role of a Principal Consultant, you will lead the engagement effort at different stages from problem definition to diagnosis to the solution design, development and deployment; contribute the unit-level and organizational initiatives with objective of providing high-quality and value-adding consulting services to the customers within the guidelines, norms and policies of Infosys.
- Degree in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- 12 years of experience in IT industry with 5 years of experience in Project/Program Management
- Sound knowledge of telecom business processes
- Knowledge of network inventory management, managing provisioning issues, network availability, & fault management.
- Plan and assign work for installing, operating, and maintaining telecom network and equipment, such as routers, switches servers, and modem
- Knowledge of WAN and LAN; Good understanding of routing protocols
- Understanding of the core technologies and platforms that underpin the infrastructure, such as servers, storage, networking, cloud, virtualization, security, and automation.
- Familiar with the tools and methods for managing and monitoring the infrastructure, such as configuration management, performance analysis, backup and recovery, and incident response.
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
