Infosys is seeking a ServiceNow Architect. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow platform development and configuration, with a specific focus on IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solutions. As a ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB Developer, you will collaborate with internal and customer stakeholders to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications to support ITOM and CMDB processes within our organization.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB solutions.
  • Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Configuration Management.
  • Customize ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, and notifications to support ITOM and CMDB processes and automation.
  • Configure and maintain the CMDB data model as per CSDM framework, ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration item (CI) information.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other internal and external data sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement ITOM and CMDB good practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and ITIL processes.
  • Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations and customizations to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary fixes or enhancements.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow releases and ITOM/CMDB-specific features, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
  • Collaborate with other developers, administrators, and business analysts to deliver integrated solutions that meet the ITOM and CMDB needs of the organization.
  • Document technical specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures for ServiceNow applications and configurations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior consultants and project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on ITOM and CMDB.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Configuration Management.
  • Proficient in ServiceNow development and configuration, including workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripting using JavaScript.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices related to ITOM and CMDB.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITOM or CMDB are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
